    03 / Story

    Two careers.
    One work ethic.

Born in Columbus, Georgia, in 1991 and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, Caleb Castille grew up in a family where football was less a pastime and more the family business. His father, Jeremiah, and older brothers, Tim and Simeon, all played for the Crimson Tide before heading to the NFL. Caleb carried on the tradition as a cornerback at Alabama, winning back-to-back national championships in 2011 and 2012.

Then he traded his cleats for a call sheet. After booking print and commercial work for Air Jordan and Nike, Caleb joined Woodlawn as a football double—and ended up leading the film. His portrayal of Tony Nathan opposite Jon Voight marked his feature debut.

Roles in The World We Make and Run the Race followed, along with recurring turns on Tell Me a Story and Hulu’s Wu-Tang: An American Saga. In 2019, he joined NCIS: Los Angeles as Special Agent Devin Rountree. What began as a recurring role in season 11 became a series regular position in season 12, with Caleb staying through the show’s final season in 2023.
